(Senior) Associate Advisory R&Q - Consulting, Cyber & Privacy

Risk and Quality (R&Q) management is essential for PwC as a professional service provider. Supporting the business in providing quality services to our clients and at the same time identifying and managing risks are key elements in our work as R&Q team.

Our Consulting, Cyber and Privacy practices combine strategic thinking, data-driven insights, and industry expertise to guide clients toward sustainable growth. We offer tailored solutions in areas such as Digital Transformation, Cyber Security, Managed Services, Strategy and Innovation and Risk Management. Our R&Q team plays an important role in ensuring that our client-facing teams make informed decisions and manage risks. 
 

We are looking for:

• A (Senior) Associate to join our R&Q team of around 9 people based in Amsterdam. Your focus will be on supporting the Consulting, Cyber & Privacy Business Units. 

• A trusted advisor. You will collaborate with diverse stakeholders to, in support of the senior R&Q team members, assess risks, and help develop risk mitigation strategies including assisting with the reporting on the implementation of these strategies. You will also play an important role in performing various risk and quality reviews and identifying and implementing improvements of our internal risk management processes. 
   

Your responsibilities will include: 

• Support to client facing teams in responding to day to day risk related queries.

• Support senior R&Q team members in dealing with a diverse range of risk related matters, including audit independence issues, potential conflict of interest situations,  technology related system solutions and process optimisation.

• Assist in the preparation of various reports and presentations for the Advisory / Management Board of PwC.

• Proactively monitoring risks and developing / implementing risk mitigation strategies / procedures; support the identification, analysis and prioritization of risks and internal control activities;

• Develop and deliver Risk Management training.

Qualifications:

• Master's or Bachelor degree in a relevant field (e.g. Risk Management, Business, Law). 

• Analytical Mindset: Ability to dissect complex issues and propose pragmatic solutions. 

• Collaborative and hands-on Approach: Work effectively with cross-functional teams. 

• Ability to express yourself fluently in Dutch and English. 

• Understanding of commercial/ client-facing issues, a working knowledge of risk management procedures and affinity with technology would be an advantage.
