Flow Traders is looking for a HR Business Partner to join our EMEA HR team in our Amsterdam office. The role will focus on coaching and guiding managers on all employee-related topics as well as playing a key role in the design and execution of Flow Traders people strategy and act as an enabler of success across the organization. You will work closely with regional leadership and the Head of HR to uphold our company culture and cultivate a strong, symbiotic relationship between HR and the business.
What you will do
In your role as HR Business Partner, you will be reporting directly to our HR Manager. You will be responsible for the following:
- Deliver HR-related strategic insight to the business
- Coach and guide managers on all employee-related topics such as: talent development, performance management practices and conversations, engagement and absence management, sick leave, HR data reporting, etc.
- Manage all employee relations scenarios: independently address inquiries, develop solutions, provide guidance to Management and/or employees, and ensure timely resolutions
- Drive the successful execution of HR Projects within established timelines, ensuring consistent application across the organization, and identifying areas of improvement
- Analyze and interpret workforce metrics on a regular and ad-hoc basis with a focus on continuous process improvement
What you need to succeed
- University Degree in HRM, Business Administration or similar
- 2+ years of working experience as HRBP (ideally in an international environment)
- Fluent in Dutch and English (Business Level of speaking and writing in both)
- In-depth knowledge of, and experience with, Dutch Labour Law and legal requirements
- Proficient skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and solid working experience with HR systems; general aptitude to learn new systems
- A passion for engaging and empowering employees at all levels
- A strong sense of urgency and the ability to organize and prioritize multiple competing tasks, with a focus on results and a pleasant employee experience
- The ability to challenge the status quo to drive the businesses forward
- The ability to understand and translate function strategy and objectives into talent and culture actions and develop clear steps for the Management to execute upon
- Strong analytical and numeric skills; able to synthesize data to net out the key points
- Available for minimal 32 hours per week
