
ESG Project Manager
Fokker Services Group seeks an adept Project Manager to spearhead and execute our ESG strategy, ensuring alignment with regulatory standards. While prior ESG experience is beneficial, it's not mandatory, offering an excellent opportunity for a seasoned project manager eager to expand their knowledge in ESG practices.
The role
As the Project Lead for implementing our organization's ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) strategy, your primary focus lies in developing a comprehensive project plan. Collaborate closely with the Management Team to set clear and measurable targets, refining the strategy from its current directional nature to actionable steps.
Stakeholder engagement is a cornerstone of this initiative. Actively engage internal stakeholders, elucidating their roles, addressing concerns, and gathering crucial input necessary for successful implementation and reporting of ESG initiatives. Communication within the organization about Fokker Services Group’s ESG strategy is essential to foster support and ensure comprehension of its significance.
Establish ESG reporting to track progress and ensure compliance with reporting standards. Remaining updated on ESG regulations and reporting frameworks is a continuous effort.
Work on comprehending our organization's carbon footprint, in collaboration with external specialists. Support the organization on utilizing this data for improvement and reporting requirements.
Relevant Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Sustainability, Environmental Management, Business Administration);
- Proven track record as a Project Manager preferably with exposure to ESG or sustainability projects,
- Proven track record as an ESG or sustainability consultant
- Proficient project management skills, managing multiple projects concurrently;
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement abilities;
- Certifications like PMP, PRINCE2, or ESG-related certifications are advantageous.

What We Offer
The CLA (CAO) Metalektro applies. This consists of the following:
- A competitive salary;
- 29 holiday days and 13 ADV leave days per year, based on a fulltime (40 hours) contract;
- Room for professional and personal growth and a lot of autonomy;
- This role will be based primarily at Hoofddorp, The Netherlands, but it will also be necessary to travel to our other locations in the Netherlands, the US and Singapore.
