In this role of Consultant Talent & Succession Management you will be working on this topic and much more! You will get the opportunity to directly contribute to one of our five people ambitions, helping the organisation to identify talents early and stretch their development and engage with leaders to identify our talents and to ensure successful business continuity for our organisation.
Your job
As a Consultant Talent & Succession Management you will engage in the activities of the succession management team to ensure successful business continuity for our organisation and the retention and development of talents. You will work in a highly interesting stakeholder field of the Supervisory Board, Nomination committee, ExBo, Extended Leadership Team members and the HR community. You will be the main point of contact for all day-to-day topics related to our yearly succession management cycle and you will also actively support improvement and change initiatives, like simplifying the Succession Management cycle and create more alignment with performance management to increase the impact for talents and organisation.
Some of the more specific tasks in your work:
- Pro-active role through continuous evaluation and review of the succession management cycle, suggesting and implementing improvements of Talent2Grow (Talent Profile), process steps and materials.
- Advise and support our HR colleagues in executing the yearly Succession Management cycle, assuring consistency across the bank and handle ad-hoc succession management related questions from the different stakeholders (in- and outside HR).
- Create insights in data and outcomes by making analysis to drive data driven decision making.
- Support of all improvement and change initiatives around talent identification, talent visibility, and talent and succession management.
- Responsible for expanding our talent visibility program to improve visibility and development of (senior) talents.
- Prepare for the yearly cycle updating timelines, information (manuals, content packs, information in intranet, presentations, etc.), onboarding HR consultants, etc.
- Ensure that knowledge and information on succession management is up to date at all times (intranet, communications, T2G system, etc).

Your profile
- You work and reason at a higher professional education (HBO) level and at least 4-5 years’ work experience, ideally in related to Succession Management
- Project management skills such as stakeholder management, powerful in planning and organizing your own work effectively, Experienced with PowerPoint and Excel.
- Analytical- and data skills including an eye for details.
- Strong in conceptual thinking: understanding situations/problems by seeing patterns & making connections.
- Sharp in organizational sensitivity by having an eye for interests and forces within the bank. Can handle sensible and personal information.
- Actively focused on achieving concrete results, combined with a pro-active, flexible, energetic, and enthusiastic personality.
- Able to communicate and work in English on a daily basis.

- The gross monthly salary (Eur. 4.823 - 6.890 pm) - also displayed above - is based on a 36-hour work week, including vacation pay and benefit budget.
- The Benefit Budget is 11% of your salary. The Benefit Budget allows you to acquire additional employment benefits. If you make no purchases or reservations in the Benefit Shop in a given month, you are paid one twelfth of your Benefit Budget that month.
- Five weeks of vacation per year. You have the option to purchase an additional four weeks per year.
- Personal development Budget of € 1,000 per year, which you can accumulate up to € 3,000.
